The year, month by month

Everything we built.

From day one at Peak Seven to building a new creative capability for the whole department — here's how Year One actually went.

August 2025
Esprit — Taking the Brand Forward
Joined the Esprit campaign mid-flight. The Shine On campaign was already established — designed by Steve — and from there Mike took full creative ownership. VIP Guide, Signage Program, Social Media Package, and Collateral Package. The work wasn't to reinvent: it was to read the brand fluently, honor the existing guidelines, and push the creative forward across every channel.
September 2025
Astor Creek + Esprit — Brand Ownership
Owned both brands across the full channel mix — digital ads, organic social, print, and signage. The throughline: a strong working relationship with the AE on both accounts. That partnership is what made high-volume, high-quality execution possible — fast turnaround without cutting corners on either brand.
October 2025 — First AI Production
Esprit TV Spot + First AI Video Production
Esprit TV Spot: First time leading video production at Peak Seven. Didn't shoot the footage — owned everything after: editing, color correction, art directing the voiceover artist, and polishing the final cut.
Esprit Clubhouse Video: First full AI video production in the company's toolkit. Started from 3D renders, enhanced them into photorealistic environments with AI, populated scenes with people and avatar characters, and delivered a finished promotional video — concept to final cut, no crew needed.

November 2025
Diamond Shores — Built a Brand From Zero
Logo design, website design and direction, full signage program, collateral package, organic social, eblasts, and photo retouching. One brand, full stack, shipped.
Plus: Fairchild's Very Merry Gardens character creation · Kolter PBI video campaign.
December 2025
Earned: The Creative AI Guru
No official title change — something more meaningful: a reputation. By December, Mike was the name the department reached for when creative work met AI. Not a designation handed down, but trust earned through the work. Alongside that, some of the most elevated content of the year: luxury-inspired AI video ads for Esprit that set a new quality bar for the brand.

January 2026 — Peakasso V1
Peakasso V1 Launch + NealGuard Concept
Launched Peakasso V1 — an internal AI prompt-engineering tool built for the creative team. Peakasso helped creatives write better prompts for image and video generation: sharper results, fewer revisions, and roughly 50% fewer mistakes on AI-generated assets. Also developed the NSH NealGuard concept, expanding the Neal brand ecosystem.

Fairchild's Interactive Activation
Luck of the Leprechaun interactive activation video and full character creation suite — built using AI. Pushed the format into experiential territory and expanded what AI-driven creative production could look like at Peak Seven.

March 2026 — First Neal HQ Visit
Boca Royale "Look Again" + Neal HQ
Steve handed over two words: "Look Again." Mike built the entire campaign from that seed — concept, creative direction, execution. The client provided raw environment footage of the property; Mike used AI to transform those images into polished, high-quality lifestyle visuals that carried the campaign. It landed as one of the strongest pieces of the year, resonating deeply with the Neal team.
"I think this is the best thing you've done so far while working here."— Steve
On the same month: the Neal team specifically requested Mike at Neal Headquarters. Not everyone gets asked into those rooms. That ask speaks to how he was being positioned at the client level — as a creative voice worth having in the conversation.

April 2026
SimplyDwell Website Rebrand + Three VIP Campaigns
Rebuilt the SimplyDwell website using Lovable — an AI-powered web builder — delivering a full rebrand: new visual language, new UX direction, without traditional development timelines. Simultaneously ran three VIP campaigns in parallel: Sage Leaf, Deerpark, and Madera.

May 2026
OneLife — AI Lifestyle Videos
Took 3D renders provided by the OneLife client and transformed them into polished lifestyle videos using AI — photorealistic environments, cinematic staging, finished production. The same render-to-final-product pipeline first developed with the Clubhouse video, applied to a new brief. No film crew. No location costs. Just the result.

June 2026 — AI Home Walkthroughs
Maple Ridge — AI Home Walkthrough Videos
Took architectural 3D renders from the client and turned them into complete home walkthrough videos using AI — photorealistic spaces, lifestyle staging, property tours from start to finish. No crew, no staging team, no location fees. The entire pipeline handled in-house: render in, finished video out. A format that would have required days of production, delivered differently.

July 2026
Kolter Savings Campaign + Maple Ridge Tesla Promo
Two flagship campaigns running simultaneously for two major clients. For Maple Ridge's Free Tesla promotion, built a full cinematic AI promo video — accurate environments and the actual Tesla model rendered into lifestyle scenes. Both campaigns were high-priority, running on tight deadlines. Both shipped at full quality.

August 2026
Kingston Design Center
Took on the Kingston Design Center campaign — and was specifically requested by the client to visit the site in person. Not every creative gets that call. Being asked on-site, by name, reflects the kind of trust and positioning that's been building across the year.
September 2026
EO All Member Meeting — Conference Intro Video
Started with Google Earth screenshots of the arena venue. Used AI to transform those satellite captures into photorealistic environmental images. From there, built a full storyboard — turning those AI-rendered stills into a sequenced visual narrative. The storyboard was then animated into AI video, producing a polished intro video for the EO All Member Meeting conference. Google Earth screenshot → AI realism → storyboard stills → AI video → final delivery.

The through-line

What AI looks like
in creative hands.

From the first AI-generated video in Peak Seven's toolkit to building a system the organic social team now runs — every production this year started with a real brief, served a real client, and met a real deadline. Not experiments. Deliverables.

Beyond the cost savings: AI didn't just replace what would have been spent — it multiplied what was actually made. Productions that would have yielded a handful of assets came back with full libraries. Photoshoots got extended into new angles, scenes, and formats that didn't exist in the original shoot. More output, from the same starting point.

Peakasso V1 — Internal AI Tool
Prompt-engineering tool built for the creative team. ~50% fewer mistakes on AI-generated assets. Won 1st place at the AI Presentation award.
January 2026
AI Lifestyle & Walkthrough Videos
OneLife lifestyle videos and Maple Ridge home walkthroughs — both built from 3D client renders. Render to final product, no crew, cinematic quality.
May – June 2026
AI Enhanced Assets
Raw environment footage provided by clients, transformed through AI — touching up images, adding people, changing angles, and elevating raw captures into polished, high-quality lifestyle visuals. Boca Royale "Look Again" was the flagship example.
March 2026
EO All Member Meeting — Intro Video
Google Earth screenshots of the arena → AI-rendered realistic environments → storyboard stills → AI video. A full production pipeline built from scratch to deliver a conference intro video.

What's next

Year Two.

One agent. A growing skill set. The whole department moves faster.

X100 Integration

The X100 bootcamp opened doors to what's possible when AI is applied at a company-wide level. Year Two brings those learnings directly into the art department — incorporating the frameworks, strategies, and tools into the Peakasso skill set so the whole creative team benefits from what was learned, not just the people in the room.

🎨
Skill 01 — Brand Kit Creation

The first Peakasso skill: generating complete, AI-ready brand kits. Structured brand guidelines formatted specifically so AI agents can work with them — colors, typography, tone, usage rules — packaged so that any tool in the stack can reference a brand without a creative having to re-explain it every time.

🗺️
The Skill Roadmap

Brand Kit is the foundation. From there, the roadmap builds out:

  • Email blast builder
  • Creative resizing — one source, all formats
  • Generative AI production workflows
  • Template builder
  • Billboard legibility & design efficacy tester
  • …and more to come

Each skill repeatable, scalable, and compounding on the last.

🎓
Workshops & Demos

Every new skill Peakasso learns is also an opportunity to bring the team along. Part of the Year Two plan is running hands-on workshops and demos — showing coworkers how to use these tools in their own workflows. Not just building for the department, but building the department's capability. The goal isn't to be the only one who can do this. The goal is to make it possible for everyone.

🔗
Cross-Department Collaboration

The best AI tools don't move creative work forward without someone who understands both sides — the strategy and the execution. Year Two is about getting into those conversations earlier. Working alongside other departments and the teams already driving Peak Seven's AI initiatives — so what gets built is actually useful to the people making the work every day.

Let's
talk.

Year One proved what's possible. Let's talk about what Year Two builds.
